Ingwenya Lodge

: The Lodge's name �Ingwenya� derives from the Zulu word for crocodile. It was quite logical to choose a name for our lodge indigenous to Zululand, in this first world heritage site of South Africa. Ingwenya Lodge is situated on the 'outskirts' of the residential area of St Lucia. The property borders the nature reserve with lovely views - a very unique privilege in St Lucia. The surroundings are very peaceful and hippos graze often at the entrance of the Lodge during the night. Small game frequently wanders on the premises and a rumor of a leopard in the area has been going around. The self catering units are named after the five feeder rivers of the St Lucia estuary: Mpate-, Nyalazi-, Hluhluwe-, Mzinene-, and Mkuze River and the Mfolozi that flows out to sea very close to the St Lucia estuary. Facilities includes a new swimming pool, air conditioning in all rooms, Wi-Fi (wireless internet), additional freezing facilities, DSTV (bring your own smartcard), safe and a hiking trail that starts from premises. Units are serviced daily.

Turn left into Dolfyn street (Wimpy on your left) and follow it for 400meters. Cancelation Policy:

A single supplement of 30% applies for single rates

Deposits: To secure a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total accommodation tariff, must be received. Once the deposit is received the reservation will be confirmed by mail. Single Tariffs: A single supplement is applicable as noted. Tariffs are subject to change without notice. Tariffs, on confirmed reservations for which a deposit has been received, will be held.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Insurance: To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract. All guests confirming a booking are advised to take out insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation in the event of a cancellation. We will seek compensation for any cancelled accommodation that cannot be rebooked, including premature curtailment of stay.

Late check-ins to be arranged prior to arrival.

Accommodation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date. Deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation, or �non arrival�. No persons other than those quoted for, are permitted to share the accommodation.

Less than 7 days, forfeit the full deposit
From 7 to 14 days, forfeit 75% of the deposit
From 14 to 21 days, forfeit 50% of the deposit
From 21 to 28 days, forfeit 25% of the deposit
Before 30 days, forfeit 10% of the deposit
